MORE WORDS PART 3

If we could love even those who have attacked us, and seek to understand why they have done so, what then would be our response?

I am not in the group of people who think that all our dreams did not come true in the ’60s, everything we said or did was invalid. No there isn’t any peace in the world despite our efforts, but I still believe the hippy peace and love thing was worthwhile. They are there in the thickening shadow,
The dead are not under the earth,
They are in the trees that rustle,
They are in the wood that groans,
They are in the water that runs,
They are in the water that sleeps,
They are in the hut,
They are in the crowd,
The dead are not dead.
