Here I am again. It is alphabet time again.<\/p>\n
I am now J.K and L.<\/strong><\/p>\n I am finding J a bit difficult. I was thinking of John Lennon but I have already mentioned The Beatles and I do not want to repeat……so first…<\/p>\n J<\/strong><\/p>\n JFK……the president on the United States that was assassinated way back in Nov 1963….this was the year before I left school. All I know about him is what I have read in books as we never learned American history at school and even if we did as I left school about the time he was shot.<\/p>\n My journals<\/strong> which I write in every day….usually through the days. I like to put the day to great before I go to bed each night. Whatever has happened whether it’s serious or silly will get written in them. Even what I eat for meals sometimes. There is as I remember ….only a very few things that I have made a decision not to mention. Son no1(aka) TJ has said he would like me to pass them on to him…when I am gone. I have thought about destroying them but I cannot as it would make me I was throwing part of me away. Most are written in pretty\/different A5 notebooks but I have used smaller and also larger.<\/p>\n K<\/strong><\/p>\n Knitting. As many of you know I managed to knit 50 plus “isolation” scarves in the first lockdown and gave them all away to family and friends who loved them. I also knit hats and scarves for the homeless.<\/p>\n It was my Aunty Eva who taught me to knit. I cannot knit what I call “fancy” stuff. I manage garter, rib, moss stitch and stocking stitch. I have knit my hubby many a lopsided jumper…….which is why I stick to hats and scarves.<\/p>\n L<\/strong><\/p>\n is for love which is what the world needs…..no more so than in these present times. A lot of interest in the songs we hear on the radio is about the love of some sort of another. Love comes in many guises….they are all sorts of love. The love between lovers…..in partners or spouses. Love in friendship. Love in families. Even love in your hobbies and interests. The love you have for your pets. The “love” you feel for your favourite singer\/actor\/TV star. That is good love….but there is also bad love….. the love of money even though we need it some people have a greed for it. Love of power, love of speed.<\/p>\n That’s it for now.
