Here is my list of 10 things that make me happy. I wonder if it is going to be a hard one…<\/p>\n

  1. When in the course of a few days I manage to see all my family…ie: all 3 sons, my lovely daughter in law and my handsome grandson… Not forgetting my adopted brother Dave P.<\/li>\n
  2. When I return from the library and realize then all the books are ones that I have never read.<\/li>\n
  3. When the voice of David Essex pops up on the radio usually singing “Hold Me Close”.<\/li>\n
  4. The wonderful feeling of those first cuddles of my family after the end of the first lockdown.<\/li>\n
  5. The pleasure I have had and the kind words I have had from the knitting and giving out of the isolation scarves I have knitted during the lockdown.<\/li>\n
  6. I have never forgotten how I felt on the wedding day of son no 3.<\/li>\n
  7. How happy I do feel when I visit the North to see my family. They are so far away.<\/li>\n
  8. The happy feeling I recently had when the nurse told me my sugar levels had gone to pre-diabetic levels…….I was totally amazed.<\/li>\n
  9. I love the feeling I get on 1st Jan…. a whole new year ahead of us with all sorts of stuff to fill up…….little did we know what 2020 would bring us.<\/li>\n
  10. A wish that 2121 will bring us all to a more happy place than what 2020 has given us.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
